I still try to do sketching during lunchbreaks at work even after October Inktober ended. So for today it’s Trafalgar Law from One Piece manga,  badass captain of the Heart pirates, an ally of Luffy’s straw-hats Pirates.

Drew this while watching Monsters University with my younger cousins Mico and Meanne.  Used copic markers N2, N4, N7 and 0.03 copic multiliner.

Still finding my way in this drawing with copic markers , you might notice the very random strokes (chaotic, actually, according to some people in my art group in fb) chaotic strokes – as im still figuring out how to many things all at once – hatching, shading, values – especially values- proportions, and it’s not like there’s an undo action for this 🙂

I love how this portrait has turned out. i enjoyed the detailing part especially. and then for the hair part i wanted to do more layers as it’s supposed to be really dark, it’s just that I wanted to save more ink 😀 and the darkest i have currently is only N7.

Also found out today that the copic multiliner pens are not refillable 😦

Batang X, 20 years after

Joined another online art jam: draw your concept of what would batang X be like 20 years after they have defeated zygrax.

this is what I have so far, decided to go with 3-NA dela Paz.

Batang X: 20 years after

Trina dela Paz, aka 3-NA. At a young age, 3-na’s electric waves was able to amplify and control the energy fields surrounding her body. This allowed her to stay inside an energy field that is cloaked in such a way that it distorts the light making her seem invisible to the eye of observer. 20 years later and she is able to transform this energy to whatever forms she needs: energy blaster boost, suit power up, magnetic field manipulation allowing her to levitate her suit and objects around her.
